Headshots VS Personal Branding
What’s the difference? Which do I need?
There’s no right or wrong. It really depends on how you use your images and what you’re style is. Below is a quick guide to show you the different looks.
Dressed to Impress
Many of our headshot clients aren’t coming from the office.
They come in with only a shirt and jacket in tow where they change in our comfortable private dressing room in our Buford Ga studio.
If you work from home and don’t want to get all dressed up, no worries, our headshots only focus on your face and upper body. You’d be surprised how many of our headshots are shot in shorts and sandals.
Show a softer side of yourself
Personal branding is going to reflect more of your “personal” side.
These portraits will be be a little more casual and more inviting.
Each session will show 2-4 different looks to show you off.
Focus on You
Our headshots really center all focus on you and getting your natural expression.
We match a background to your wardrobe.
For corporate and company looks, we match the background to something that will compliment your website and office.
Be Casual
Don’t be afraid to let your clients, colleagues and viewers see you in your element.
If your element is a coffee shop, we’ve got you. If you feel most alive outside and barefoot, that’s fine too.
Get creative, or let us get creative for you and offer ideas for really showing a more authentic you in your portraits.
Professional
Headshots are going to be posted to your company website, your professional social links and other places where they will be small in size on the viewing area.
The purpose of headshots is for the viewer to get a quick look of introduction to you, we want as much of your face to be visible, free from distracting backgrounds and other objects.
For these reasons, we recommend a tighter crop to your face.
You are the model
We’ve heard that the personal branding sessions are modely.

To truly show the best sides of you, we’ll coach you and guide you to a relaxed, yet flattering look that will be sure to catch an audience.
After I put the camera down and the images have been loaded, what comes next is my absolute favorite.

We have a dressing room for your comfort and privacy, as well as a select wardrobe in the event you need it. I work closely with other top industry professionals to offer professional hair and makeup services on site if you choose. Once you feel confident, the rest is as they say, in the reviews.
